Venue: Ballance House
Price: £3 for Adults £1 for Children
The annual Apple Day fair at The Ballance House, Glenavy, will take place on Saturday 14th October 2017 from 12pm – 4pm.
It promises to be a fun and creative afternoon out for the whole family. Visit our craft market and take a guided tour of the restored House and Ulster-New Zealand exhibition (tours will be running at 1, 2 and 3 pm). Along with our apple mini-obstacle course, there will be face-painting and apple-themed arts and crafts with Linda (come and make a bird feeder and tasty stuffed apples to take home). Try the apple slices dipped in delicious toffee sauce from Brambleberry Jams along with other apple dippers. A selection of Armagh apples and apple juice will be available to purchase and our popular tea barn will be serving homemade soup, sandwiches, traybakes and apple pie and cream.
Our stall products will range from honey, chocolate and fudge, art, crafts, glass decorations, jewellery, decoupage, jams and chutneys, and not forgetting the popular Tombola!
Entrance donation: £3 for adults and £1 for children. All proceeds go towards the maintenance of the House.
